Common questions about this module
Which system leads – Bexio or FreeScout?
Bexio. A customer change is only saved once Bexio has confirmed it. If Bexio is temporarily unreachable you cannot change customer data during that time – but there is never an unconfirmed state that later counts as valid. If a transfer fails, the previous details remain, with a concrete error message.
How often is it synchronised?
Customers and articles every five minutes in the background; nobody needs to be signed in for it. If a run fails, the last successful state remains, the connection page shows the error, and the next run tries again.
Why can I not simply buy the module?
Because the first sync touches existing data and the module wants careful setting up in a grown Bexio environment. So we accompany the setup personally instead of putting a buy button in front of you. Write to us – we clarify the requirements first.
Can I create an article without it appearing in Bexio straight away?
Yes. Switch synchronisation off when saving and the article stays local to FreeScout for now. You can enter and check it in peace and transfer it later.
What do I see on the customer page?
A shared timeline that brings together what the installed modules know about this customer – projects, tasks, time and more. Before a call you can see in one glance what is done and what is open.
Are bank details taken over too?
No, the module neither reads nor edits them. The Bexio web portal stays responsible for those.
